As you know, our pool is very secluded and hidden in a wooden area.  This has its advantages and disadvantages.  One disadvantage is that it can be difficult to monitor activity at the pool.  As a result, we continue to have a lot of problems with vandalism, loitering in the parking lot and non-residents accessing the pool.  To solve these problems we will be enforcing stricter pool regulations in 2012.  We have followed in the footsteps of Ivey Pointe and Coldwater Creek by establishing a more structured process.  Here is an overview:

  • Homeowners who are current on their dues and wish to access the pool must sign the pool rules document to gain access this year and provide a valid email address.
    • The rules document was developed using Ivey Pointe and Coldwater Creek documents as a starting point.
    • The email address is needed to inform homeowners of problems with pool operations or changes in codes/keys.
  • The HOA will issue lanyards and identification cards to all eligible homeowners.  One lanyard and access card will be issued per household and it must be displayed at all times while at the pool.
  • All homeowners may challenge another homeowner for their identification.
  • If a homeowner does not follow the rules, their rights to access common areas including the pool will be revoked.
  • If your privileges are suspended and you or a member of your family is found on common property, the police will be notified and we will issue a fine of $50 that must be paid before privileges can be reinstated.
  • A DRAFT of the rules can be found on the documents section of our website or by clicking here.

We will be passing out lanyards to homeowners who complete the form on two separate dates (5/15 and 5/19).  At a later date, we will follow up with a colored access card that signifies that you have paid dues for the current year and lists all family members.  If you have questions about the process, please send an email to Bramlett.shoals@gmail.com.
