Q: What time does the Pool Open and Close?

The pool is typically open from May to September (please check the home page announcements and our Facebook group for exact dates) and its hours of operation during this time are 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  The pool radio is set on a timer to go off at 10:00 p.m.

Q:  Can I change the radio station at the pool?

The room that contains the radio station is kept locked for safety reasons.  If you have a suggestion or complaint about the radio, please email Bramlett.Shoals@gmail.com.

Q:  How do I gain access to the pool?

Once your HOA dues are paid and you sign the pool rules, a branded lanyard, access card and code will be provided to you.

Q:  I went to the pool and there was a “POOL CLOSED” sign posted.  Can I still use it?

No, sometimes we must provide maintenance to the pool and equipment and this sign is posted during maintenance time periods for your safety. Please check here and on our Facebook group for updates on the pool schedule and maintenance, or email us with any questions.

Q:  Is there a lifeguard at the pool.

No, the HOA does not currently pay for a lifeguard so you must swim at your own risk and obey all pool rules.

Q:  What are the rules for the pool?

Visit this link to view the current rules.

Q:  I want to bring a guest to the pool.  Can I do that?

We welcome guests to our pool (maximum of 5 per household); however, no non-member homeowner can be a guest at the pool.  You may only bring guests from outside the community.

Q: I want to have a party at the pool. Can I do that?

Yes, pool parties (i.e. Birthday Parties, Church Gatherings, etc.) will cost $200 with a maximum of 15 guests.  Homeowner will be responsible for cleaning bathrooms after party and will also be subject to an inspection prior to and after the party. Please contact us at Bramlett.Shoals@gmail.com for details and scheduling.

Q: Who is responsible for maintaining the pool and keeping the water clean?

As a homeowner you are responsible for helping to keep the pool area clean.  Our contracted pool service provides weekly service to maintain the pool water and equipment.  Please email us if there are concerns regarding the cleanliness of the pool.  If you would like to see a copy of the current contract, you can view it on the Bramlett Shoals HOA Facebook page or send your email address to Bramlett.Shoals@gmail.com to see the current contract and service agreement.

Q:  Who is responsible for cleaning the restrooms at the pool?

A team of volunteer homeowners will be responsible for cleaning the restrooms.  Please help us by picking up after yourself and your family.

Q:  Who do I call if I see someone at the pool/tennis courts that I don’t think should be there?  Or, what if I feel threatened by someone at the pool/tennis courts?

If you feel your life is threatened, you should always call 911.  If you see someone at the pool that you do not think belongs, please call 911 and report a suspicious person or vehicle on pool/tennis property using your cell phone or the emergency phone at the pool.  There is a Gwinnett County ordinance that allows the Gwinnett County Police Department to cite individuals with Disorderly Conduct if they are on the common property of a subdivision without permission or the presence of a homeowner.  If you choose to call the Police, you should also notify the HOA board by emailing Bramlett.Shoals@gmail.com or let your neighbors know by posting on the HOA Facebook page so that everyone is aware.

Q: Why is there an emergency phone and water fountain at the pool? Do we really need these things because everyone has a cell phone?

Gwinnett County mandates that an emergency phone and water fountain be available at the pool.

Q: What are the hours for the tennis court?

There are no posted hours for the Tennis Courts; however, please be respectful of neighbors because the lights at the court are bright.

Q: How do I turn on the lights at the tennis court?

The building located adjacent to the courts has a switch to turn the lights off and on.
