Q:  Does the HOA currently employ a property management company to patrol the subdivision and cite people for violations of covenants?

No, the HOA does not pay a service to do this.  If you have a complaint about a code violation, you may email the board at Bramlett.Shoals@gmail.com and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. Before you register a complaint with the board, remember that we are all neighbors and you may want to speak to your neighbor directly before involving the board.

Q:  Does Gwinnett County have an enforcement division to enforce property maintenance ordinances?

Yes, there is a division of Gwinnett County called the Gwinnett Quality of Life Division that is responsible for enforcing the Gwinnett County ordinances regarding property maintenance.  Since the HOA does not employ a property management company and this division exists to enforce ordinances , the HOA files complaints with this division when needed using this website.  Also, please remember that all city and county ordinances supersede the covenants of the subdivision.  The city of Lawrenceville also has a Quality of Life Division, but because our neighborhood is located outside the city limits, we are not in their jurisdiction.  Here is the contact information for Gwinnett Quality of Life:

QualityofLife@gwinnettcounty.com

Main: 770.513.5020
Fax: 770.513.5003
Hotline for complaints: 770.513.5004
