We are planning an HOA workday on 9/29.  We will start at 8 a.m. at the pool and divide into two teams.  One team will be led by Steve Sullivan and focus on the entrance.  The other team will be led by Todd McCarty and focus on the pool.  For the last workday we had about 15 people show up and we were pretty much done with all the work by noon.  We got a lot done in a short amount of time.  I hope we can get a good turnout for the workday on the 29th.  Here is preliminary list of projects:

Entrance – Team Leader Steve Sullivan

  • Plant more flowers in beds at entrance of Marta Crane.
  • Trim trees at entrance of Bramlett Blvd that obstruct view.
  • Put out more red mulch at entrance of Bramlett Blvd.
  • Spray weeds with roundup
  • Pressure wash brick signs to remove dirt and mildew
  • Pressure wash sidewalks
  • Prune bushes as needed
  • Spread pre-emergent weed killer

Pool – Team Leader Todd McCarty

  • Put out more red mulch in beds around pool.
  • Spray weeds with roundup.
  • Trim back trees that hang over fence.
  • Put away pool furniture
  • Trim tree that is hanging into the street light adjacent to pool.
  • Pressure wash sidewalk and curbs
  • Prune bushes as needed
  • Spread pre-emergent weed killer

If you can, please bring blowers, shovels, pruners, pressure washers or any other tools that you think are appropriate.  If you have any questions, please email bramlett.shoals@gmail.com.  We hope to see you there.
