Tommy Edwards recently spoke to the Gwinnett County DOT (GCDOT) and has an update on the speed bumps.  Below is the text from a recent post to the Facebook group from Tommy .  If you have a Marta Crane Drive address, you should be receiving a letter soon from GCDOT.  Soon everyone on Marta Crane will have a decision to make regarding speed bumps.  In case you have forgotten, here is a link to the results of the speeding test that GCDOT completed for the subdivision.  It is interesting that 369 vehicles go up and down Marta Crane Drive on the average day at a speed of 31.6 mph.  Thanks to Tommy for taking the lead on this most recently.  Also, thanks to Steve Sullivan for doing the initial digging.

Hello Neighbors,
Here is an update on the status of the projected speed bumps for the residents on the Marta Crane Drive side. I justed talked to Mr. Hodges (GCDOT), he stated that his office is in the final stages of completing the paperwork for the speed bumps, at the County level. Mr. Hodges stated that each resident c/o Marta Crane Drive will get a letter from the County, explaining the process. He went on to say that the letter should arrive in the mail, in the next two weeks. Thank you for your patience, on this matter. As soon as I receive more information, I will share it. Until then, have a blessed day!!

Tommy Edwards
