Spring has sprung and the grass is growing.  We ask that all homeowners take care of their lawns by keeping the grass mowed on a regular basis (twice monthly at a minimum).  The HOA has received complaints from many homeowners about tall grass, tall weeds around mailboxes, debris and weeds on curbs, cars parked in yards, graffiti on fences, trash cans left in plain view and mailboxes that are black with mold and need a new coat of paint.

Since our HOA does not employ a property management company, the HOA is encouraging concerned homeowners to contact the Gwinnett Quality of Life division and register complaints on their website.  Our neighborhood covenants are superseded by Gwinnett County property maintenance ordinances.  An explanation of Gwinnett County ordinances can be found by clicking here.  This  provides a really good overview of Gwinnett County codes and ordinances in laymen’s terms.

It is the responsibility of the Gwinnett Quality of Life division to enforce the codes.  They do this by issuing citations (minimum of $250) to homeowners who are not in compliance with county ordinances.  If you have a complaint, you can call them at 770-.670-5150 or file a complaint on their website by clicking here.

ACTION REQUIRED:  Please take the time to spray your mailbox with bleach and add a fresh coat of white paint with a can of spray paint.  If you need assistance, please contact the board at Bramlett.shoals@gmail.com. Also, please keep your trash can and other debris hidden from plain view.  Finally, take a few minutes and blow off the curb in front of your home to remove any pine straw or leaves remaining from winter and spray any weeds that may be growing in cracks.
