Thanks to everyone who helped out with the HOA workday yesterday including:

Bobby and Tina Chapman – Bobby did a ton of work at the pool in the bathrooms to get them ready for new flooring we are having installed. The old floor was shot and rotting out in many areas. The new floor will be slip resistant and much safer for all. Bobby also fixed the pool gate so it will now close automatically. Tonight Bobby helped me diagnose a leak in a copper pipe fitting behind the sheet rock in the mens restroom. Water was everywhere. We think it has been leaking slowly for a while based on the rust we found. We think the new backflow prevention device increased the pressure in the pipes and made the leak more noticeable. We will need to call a plumber to give us a quote to do some welding work. Thanks for helping all day yesterday and again tonight Bobby.

Clay Abney – Helped fix the fence at the pool by fastening it to the ground. This will help us pass county inspection. Clay also did a ton of pressure washing work. Thanks for helping out all day Clay.

Steve Sullivan helped us out a lot by pressure washing and doing a bunch of other work. Steve is going to take the lead in coming up with a landscape plan for the entry way at the front of Marta Crane. If you’ve seen Steve’s yard then you know we are in good hands on that. Thanks to Joan Cook Sullivan for letting us use Steve’s talents.

Tommy Edwards and David Rotter – They helped get the entryway on Bramlett Blvd ready for mulch along with Lamar Smith by pruning and cleaning out some beds. Thanks for your time.

Jim and Donna Hogan – Jim provided some hardware to help us fix the fence and that hardware saved us a bunch of money. Thanks for your contribution.

Jennifer Witt McCarty – Thanks for pruning bushes at the pool and doing other landscape work while watching the kids so I could focus on other things.

Thanks again to everyone. The next pool workday will be May 12th and I’ll send out a calendar invite about that shortly. We will focus on the entryway of the subdivision on May 12. The entryway represents the entire neighborhood and the burden of caring for it should not fall on the people who happen to live at the front.
