Why is a community website important?

The Board of Directors is proud to announce that the Bramlett Shoals Subdivision and HOA has a website. The board is starting this website/blog to better communicate with HOA members.  The site can serve as a “newsletter” for our community to get timely and accurate information to residents.

Here are some reasons why a website is important for our community:

1. Increases Our Property Value: Studies show that HOA’s who have active websites that are dynamic and provide two-way communication can provide tremendous added value to your property.  Two-way communication is important in today’s social media driven world.
2. Convenience & Simplicity: Availability of HOA Documents. No more searching in your files for the documents. You can find the most important documents on the site and provide your email address to receive private documents like vendor contracts (i.e. pool and landscaping).
3. Knowledge is Power:  Fewer newsletters or flyers that may or may not reach you. Receive active and current information regarding our HOA at your fingertips.
4. Participate: Do you have an idea?  Write an article or reply to a post and have it published on the website.  This site gives us the opportunity to get involved and be heard.
5. Communications: You will be able to receive and provide active information to and from the Board of Directors immediately.  Access to board members with a simple “Contact us” feature. 
6. Meetings and Events: See all meetings and events including Board of Director meetings, annual meetings, and community events.  We could also organize a community event, such as an annual neighborhood garage sale and have it posted on the meetings and events page.
7. Connecting with Our Neighbors: Let’s get to know each other, this website gives us a place to announce births, weddings, graduations and welcome new neighbors to our community.
